SERVICE TRIP
The way to be a true global citizen is through giving all you have and experiencing the people’s lives in undeveloped countries.We organize regular volunteering trips during term breaks that provide a wonderful opportunity for our members to achieve the goal above. We have covered our trips in a lot of countries including Albania, China, Romania and Morocco with future plans to explore more of these countries and provide our help to the needy.
Marrakech, Morocco
2017, March
On March 20th, around 20 of us landed in Marrakesh Menara Airport to mark the start of this year's WHKPASS service trip. Throughout the trip, we provided a helping hand to orphanages and children centres in the Western Kingdom of Africa. Apart from involving in local volunteering services, we also had the chance to enjoy the magnificent sceneries of the high Atlas Mountain. We all enjoyed it very much and hope you can join our team in the upcoming year.
Albania
2016, MARCH
In 2016, a group of 8 members worked at the Children’s Community Centre that runs by Caritas in Albania for a week during spring break. Throughout the week, the volunteers had the opportunity to work alongside local staff to design daily activities for the children and to entertain the children and help develop their cognitive skills. The aim of this project is to provide underprivileged children in Albania with new, enriching and exciting activities.
